User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 I get lots of spams with no content at all, just whitespace. None of these are from people I know, and are presumbly attempts to confirm the presence of a valid E-mail account by checking for bounces. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get mail 2. 3. Actual Results: I got a significant number of blank E-mails from spammers. Expected Results: Noted the absence of either non-whitespace text or an attachment, and combined this with other information in its Bayesian filter to mark them as junk. It's remarkable how many E-mails this catches: only a small part of my overall inbox, but they are *all* spam.

did you check if thunderbird persists in not detecting such messages as junk after training on a few such messages?
