The latest FireFox builds, with bfcache enabled, breaks Google Toolbar on forward and back navigation. I'm using FireFox/Deer Park build 20050823. Here's how to reproduce. 1. Install Google Toolbar from toolbar.google.com Make sure PageRank is enabled 2. Visit http://www.cnn.com/ Observe the PageRank 3. Visit http://www.suspectclass.com/~sgifford/ Observe the PageRank 4. Hit Back. I still see the PageRank from suspectclass instead of cnn. FireFox displays the correct PageRank in 1.0.6.

Confirmed that disabling bfcache fixes this bug, so blocking bug 274784 and adding bzbarsky to Cc:

This bug definitely exists, but it's something that needs to be fixed in the toolbar so that it doesn't listen for onload to update the pagerank (part of the event changes we'll be documenting for extension authors). This isn't the right forum for reporting google toolbar problems.
