Using an 08/24 nightly branch build of Firefox, I get some XPC Connect erros
when I try to view my retirement portfolio on fidelity.com.

I get the following error in the JS console:

Error: [Exception... "'Permission denied to get property
XULElement.selectedIndex' when calling method:
[nsIAutoCompletePopup::selectedIndex]"  nsresult: "0x8057001e
(NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)"  location: "JS frame ::

:: clearForm :: line 76"  data: no]
Source File:

Line: 76

After the JS error, I get a popup error dialog. I'll post a screen shot showing
the text for that.

Could Fidelity be running some custom XUL/JS that uses our XP connect system?
Should this be considered a 1.8b4 or a 1.5 stopper bug? Do others have this
problem on Fidelity?

Flags: blocking1.8b4?
After updating from 08/24 to 08/25, I no longer see this problem so this bug may
end up being a Works For Me. Would be good to know if someone else can use an
8/25 build without any problems on fidelity.
I see the problem in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4)
Gecko/20050824 Firefox/1.0+
no problems just a few minutes later logging into http://netbenefits.com using
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050826
Firefox/1.0+
jst, did bug 305528 fix this?
please reopen this bug if this is still a problem on the branch. it appears fixed.
