Firefox freezes completely and never recovers when I click on: 
Edit->Preferences->Downloads
in the menu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click Edit
2. Click Preferences
3. Click Downloads

Actual Results:  
Complete freeze

Expected Results:  
Let me into the Downloads configuration menu.

Platform: FreeBSD 5.4 release.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050825

The Downloads window does not cause a freeze here, neither in branch nor in trunk.
reporter, can you reproduce this with a current mozilla1.8branch build and a
current trunk build?
