User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050813 Firefox/1.0.4 (Debian package 1.0.4-2sarge2)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050813 Firefox/1.0.4 (Debian package 1.0.4-2sarge2)

When I try to close a single tab, either through the 'close tab' button or the
tab menu, firefox closes instantly. This also occurs when more than one tab is
open, and the 'close all tabs?' warning is on.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start firefox.
2. Open a page in a second tab so that the close tab button appears.
3. Click on the 'close tab'-button or use the tab menu to close the tab.
4. Boom.

Actual Results:
The browser closed without an error message.

Expected Results:
It should have closed the currently active tab.
Works for me. Did you try in firefox's safe mode
(http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode)?

I just did (sorry I didn't think of this before, I'm new to this finding bugs
thing). It didn't close on 'close tabs' this time, but it did when I tried to
open the extensions menu.
Caused by a faulty extension.
