While browsing, my toolbar suddenly changed. Instead of having back, forward and
reload buttons I got 4 left arrows, with aliasing on the images.
I clicked on the third one and it changed back to the reload icon.
I clicked on the second one and it changed back to the forward icon. The
remaining arrow can't be clicked (it is not a button), and it does not change.
I thought it could be a X11 problem, but refreshing the window does not remove
it, neither does changing the current virtual desktop.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Expected Results:
Correct display.

I think I've seen this before, and it was caused when I changed my theme when
Firefox was open. Did you change your theme when this happened?

No, I do not use any theme. All I use is All-in-One gestures and Adblock Plus.
Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant the GNOME theme.

No, I didn't change the GNOME theme. By the way, I use Clearlooks on GTK+-2.6.8,
if it matters. I think it happened when I got back one page using mouse
gestures, but I'm not sure. I use Firefox as my main browser, it was the first
time it happened and I could not reproduce it.
It is possible that an update was running, maybe updating GTK. If you can think
of a scenario involving the change of a GNOME theme that could lead to this bug,
I could test it.
This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME
