User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.11) Gecko/20050729 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.11) Gecko/20050729 If the Mozilla navigator is in full screen and we resume by pressing F11, Mozilla is not maximized, but restored and its window edges are at the edge of the screen under KDE's panels. This does not happen using Gnome 2.6. I'm using KDE-3.4.1 on xorg-6.8.2 both from slackware-current on slackware-10.1 upgraded to slackware-current. I do not have other or use other window managers. I installed Mozilla from mozilla.org binary. Workaround: 1. If the upper panels do not cover the window's titlebar or the menu bar then maximize the window. 2. If the upper panels cover the window's titlebar and/or the window's menu bar use key bindings to maximize the window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start KDE without changing its standard configuration. It has a medium-size panel at the bottom. (You can add some more panels at the top or on the sides and you'll find the same behaviour with them.) 2. Start Mozilla navigator from the Mozilla-suite. 3. Maximize its window (this is important). 4. Press F11 to switch to full-screen (there's no need to load a page). 5. Press F11 to switch back to maximized state. It returns to a "Restored" state instead of maximized, but its size is at maximum (below non-coverable panels). Actual Results: When returning from full screen AND the last state was maximized it restores to a "restored" window but with the maximum size (is going below KDE's panels). Expected Results: When returning from full screen AND the last state was maximized it should restore to a "maximized" window, and should ocuppy only the space allocated to maximized windows, not more.

Works for me with: - "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5pre) Gecko/2008032107 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre" (compiled for GTK2 libs IIUC, though about:buildconfig doesn't mention them) - openSUSE Linux 10.3 with all of Gnome2, KDE3 and KDE4 libraries installed - KDE3 window manager running No comments in this bug for about 2Β½ years. I'm tentatively resolving this bug WORKSFORME. Anyone sees it with a recent build, please REOPEN.
