User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050825 SeaMonkey/1.0a Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050825 SeaMonkey/1.0a From remarks in bug #289625: It would look better to the user for color settings including updates of the pickers to go into effect immediately instead of waiting for chars to be typed, as occurred before bug #289625. In Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050825 SeaMonkey/1.0a, the text picker is updated immediately on selecting a color. But the background picker isn't updated until chars are typed, though the actual background color changes immediately. The background picker should be updated immediately too. This is a core editor problem affecting both mail/news editor and the Composer editor, but this component doesn't seem selectable in bug reporting. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a mail compose window. 2. Click the background color picker. 3. Change the color selection. Actual Results: The background color changes immediately, but the background color picker does not change until something is typed. Expected Results: The background color picker box should be updated immediately just like the background is, and like the text color picker box is. Had a problem sending this. Pardon me if this gets double-posted.
Color changes seem to be made immediately in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050910 SeaMonkey/1.0a.
In Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915, there must be at least one char typed in the body before the background color picker display is activated.
Seems ok in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050929 SeaMonkey/1.1a
