History should give sort options. Sort by order clicked, a true historical sort,
is badly needed. Sort by alpha seems to be there but is little use unless a
person constantly looks at URLs. 

Search on history doesn't even work... under other systems I can search on a
strange number or word in the long url and get directly back to a page that I've
printed with URL's listed in the print header. Right now history isn't useful.

I fail to see how any of these issues you described exist.

1) Sort by order clicked would be "View > By Last Visited".
2) Alphabetical sort is not useless.
3) Searching the history works fine.

As comment 2 says, historical sort is there so your only other request so far as
I can see is for the ability to search within the url.

If you have any other requests please add a single bug per request rather than
putting multiple items into the same bug.
