User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 When a multipart jpeg/motion jpeg webcam page is opened in a tab and then closed the image keeps refreshing somewhere in the background. If the same page is opened to another windows then it stops loading when the window is closed (and other Firefox windows still present). This happens with Axis cameras which can be tested on http://www.opentopia.com/hiddencam.php and also with Linux camserv -streaming webcam software which uses the same kind of technique in sending the image. This has been tested on three different computers with Firefox 1.0.6 and WindowsXP. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open new tab 2.Start a bandwith monitoring application 3.Open a camera from http://www.opentopia.com/hiddencam.php 4.Close tab 5.Check does the bandwith usage reduce Actual Results: Firefox kept downloading at 80kbit/s, even though the camera page wasn't open anymore. Expected Results: Stop reloading the image :-)
