maps.google.com is not loaded from cache when browser is set to work offline mode.

Isn't that because it contains a lot of Javascript code that will force the maps
to load from the network ?
Internet Explorer from Microsoft can open it. why can't Firefox?
Gecko's cache works differently than IE's. You can't switch to offline mode, and
keep surfing in the cache.
