I have noticed on a number of occasions that may of my emails become flagged as
unread.  This has happened quite a few times but I have not been able to notice why.

This is a big problem because lots (often all but not always) of emails in most
(but not always all) of my sub folders of 'Local folders' get reset as unread.

I suspect that it happens after I compact folders.

This was happening frequently on anothe PC where it was set to prompt me to
compact.  I have now installed TB onto a new PC and transferred all of my emails
there.  I have not set it to prompt me automatically to compact but it still
does (though not as often).  

I noticed the problem a little while after I allowed it to compact.

I did not notice immediately because the folders in question are usually
collapsed and therefore don't indicate that they have unread messages.
