Sites such as CNNFN adn Charles Schwab use only 1/2 (left side) of my display
and thus print is too small. When I increase text size it does not fill out
screen and thus prevents viewing full page.

Well, that is how those sites render their content, you should complain to them.
It's nothing that Firefox can do (and IE has the same problem).
Not a Mozilla/Firefox bug. Invalid.
