Uncheck the preference to automatically check for updates to Firefox don't
immediatlly grayed out all of the items under "When updates to Deer Park are found"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to http://wiki.mozilla.org/Mozilla_QA_Community:Software_Update
2.Try the test III.E
3.See the result

Actual Results:  
all of the items under "When updates to Deer Park are found" are not grayed out
can be selected. I have to close the option dialog box and reopen it to see the
modification.
Same behaviour when Deer Park is unchecked and if i check the box --> all of the
items under "When updates to Deer Park are found" stay grayed and i have to
reopen the option box to see the result

Expected Results:  
all of the items under "When updates to Deer Park are found" are grayed out and
not able to be selected.

I can confirm this bug also for Thunderbird version 1.0+ (20050828)  (branch 1.8)
