This is a support problem. Please ask in the forums: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38 Where I'm sure someone will help. BTW, you can uninstall FF and your bookmarks, etc. will be fine - they are stoed in a different location to the program. Marking INVALID - clearly not a FF bug.

The original summary for this bug was longer than 255 characters, and so it was truncated when Bugzilla was upgraded. The original summary was: fDownload for upgrade to 1.0.6 keeps running and never downloads (nor installs). Tried turning off CA EZ firewall with same result. Also have CA EZ antivirus running. Did not try turning that off. Same result when tried download from my Mozilla homepage and clicking on the small red update icon, or from your download update page. Do you recommend deleting V1.0.4 and reinstalling 1.0.6? How can i save my favorite bookmarks if that's the decision?

A bug summary should be just that: a summary. Please put clear steps to reproduce this problem inline, if you think this is indeed a Firefox bug. This does indeed look like a support request to me, based on the limited information present, though.
