User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 When I start firefox and open many tabs and disconnect the internet connection, firefox hangs after some time(about 2-3 hours, maybe earlier). The Firefix window is not repainted then and it does not do anything. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Firefox 2. Open many Tabs 3. Disconnect internet connection 4. Wait Actual Results: Firefox hangs, the windows doesn't get repainted. Expected Results: Firefox should work as before, at least after reconnecting the internet connectin.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Not FIXED, there was no patch checked into the tree. If you don't see it anymore, WFM
