There should be a direct link to the mozillazine forums either in the help files
or directly under the Help menu

I guarantee you adding a top-level menu item for the forums will get vetoed.

As for adding a link in help docs, there actually was one at one time, but now
all the online support is being redirected through the Firefox support page at
<http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/>.  There are links to various parts of
MozillaZine there (including the forums), and as it's a live page (not a
"static" page that's constant once it's been compiled into a Firefox build) it
can be updated as necessary.  This is far better than static links to web sites
which can't be absolutely guaranteed to be around, so adding a MozillaZine
forums link in non-updatable help docs is WONTFIX.
