User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0b; Windows NT 6.0) Build Identifier: Version 2005082604 (0.9a2+) go to that URL. If you are using a nighlty build of Camino, the scrolling is jumpy. No, it's not my hardware, the same page works perfectly well in safari. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.wait till the page is done loading 2.press the scroll bar and move it down at a normal pace 3. Actual Results: the scrolling was jumpy and choppy, as if under stress Expected Results: scrolled normally, like you see in the bugzilla
There's a fixed-position bg image, so this is probably the "fixed/absolutely positioned images causes slow scrolling" bug (what's its number?)...

I'm not sure we have one. There was a bug for large background images, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Whatever it is, I also see this when browsing that site, so confirming, but we'll have to narrow down exactly what it is.

Ever confirmed: true
It might be in Core somewhere; I think Wevah mentioned it one time in some bug (but I can't find that mention or the apparent bug) :-(

How does this look for people on trunk (particularly people with older hardware)? It's not bad at all for me in recent trunk, but my machines are pretty fast.
I believe philippe has a PowerBook....

(In reply to comment #5) > PowerBook.... Still... The page in the URL field scrolls fine here; the background image might slow down scrolling slightly but it is barely noticeable (and, for trunk, that would be bug 364221). Also, scrolling may feel/look 'choppy' because the long text lines with small type/line-height sort of flicker when scrolling fast, but that is the same in other browsers (checked with the latest Webkit build).
