User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux ppc; fr; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050824 Firefox/1.0.6 (Debian package 1.0.6-3) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux ppc; fr; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050824 Firefox/1.0.6 (Debian package 1.0.6-3) Hi, on my ~slow PPC 1GHz, i've noticed that firefox freezes when it renders pages that have a lot of javascripts. For example, http://www.linuxfr.org uses a lot of javascript for messages scoring : when i open several threads into tabs, firefox freezes until every page has been rendered. "Firefox freezes" means that i can no longer scroll the current page, switch to another tab, click any link nor open any menu. The rendering of a single page is not that long as i don't get the warning popup telling me that some javascript is hogging my cpu. This is really painful. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Argh. Seems to be the same when I click Install on a WWW page on addons.mozilla.org to install any Firefox extension (like Adblock). If I switch JavaScript off, the click results in a windows appearing, with offer to install the XPI. (FF 1.0.6 CZ, Debian GNU/Linux Sarge)
