User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Build Identifier: mozilla firefox 1.0.6 In viewing any Web page in Mozilla Firefox 1.0.6, I can't View: Info, which is necessary to find the date of publication when I need to cite that Web page. What happened to: File: Edit Page?? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to any web page 2.go to view (there is no page info) 3.go to file (there is no edit page) Actual Results: There is no page info provided there is no file: edit page Expected Results: add page info add file: edit file Mozilla is my preferred browser. I thought Firefox was more up-to-date. Thanks for listening, L. A. Anderson
These are not really bugs, please consider asking in the support forums: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38 However, to reply to your points. Page Info is on the context menu when you click on a webpage (on windows this is right-click, sorry I don't know the Mac equivalent). As for Edit Page, the whole point of FF is that it is not the total suite of tools that is the Mozilla App Suite (now SeaMonkey). So there is not an editor built into FF. Possibly someone has made an extesion for the purpose - I remember something about this ages ago!

Oh, should have also said Nvu (http://www.nvu.com/) is a Gecko-based stand-alone web editor

FWIW, Page Info is in Tools, not View in Firefox, and bug 240384 is for moving it to the View menu.
