I am not sure when this regressed, but I noticed to day that Automatic proxy
configuration no longer works with branch builds.  Noted this issue with:

version 1.0+ (20050830)
any JS errors? maybe I made a mistake when I ported Bug 302486 to Thunderbird on
the 29th.

Sorry I shouls have looked at the version string I pasted.  I was sure I was
running a 08/31 build.  Sorry about that.
