User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 If you have the bookmarks tab opened, in order to CMD+Click (or right click) to open the popup menu you must have a folder or current bookmark selected. When trying to open the popup menu with no element selected in the list, nothing happens, though there is no crash or other visible problems. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Bookmarks Side tab 2. Make sure no bookmarks are selected. 3. Attempt to CMD Click Actual Results: No popup menu displayed. No error noticed Expected Results: Opened the popup menu as normal ... like it does if you have a selected element.
You really mean control, not Cmd.
Summary: Unable to CMD+Click Popup Menu in Bookmarks when no bookmark/folder is selected → Unable to Control+Click Popup Menu in Bookmarks when no bookmark/folder is selected
IOn a recent Windows build (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050831 Firefox/1.0+), right-clicking as you suggest leads to the item nearest the click being selected, then the menu appearing. Is the bug still seen in recent nightlies on a Mac?
