Deer park 2 on Mac OS X Tiger displays the attached mixed-namespace xhtml/xvg
document correctly. 

However, running on this linux machine, all the text is displayed, but none of
the lines or circles.

Increasing the stroke-width of the lines to 10px results in them showing up, but
they won't display if they're any narrower. I can't seem to make the circles
show up at all.
