Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6

If the path of an IMAP folder is long, TB "freezes" with the cursor changing to
an hourglass. The contents of the folder are NOT displayed.

TB has not completely frozen since selecting a different folder will cause it to
be highlighted (but the contents of the new folder are not displayed) and
clicking on the close [X] will close the window (however thunderbird.exe is
still in the task manager list using up 0% of the CPU).

I noticed the problem with a folder with 116 characters in its path (including
periods separating directories). The problem did not appear when one of the
folders in the path was pruned by 27 characters (making a total path length of
89 characters).

In case it matters, the IMAP server name is 21 characters long.

Other email clients show the contents without issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a hierarchy of such that the length of the entire path of the
bottom-most folder is short (say 64 characters)
2. Copy a message into the bottom most folder and select it, the contents are
viewable
3. Rename a directory in the middle of the path such that the total length of
the path of the bottom-most folder is more than 128 characters
4. Select the bottom-most folder

Actual Results:
Perpetual hourglass cursor and Thunderbird will not close completely.

Expected Results:
Contents of the folder visible.

WRT bug 249807, perhaps the cause is the same, but the symptoms are different.

In my case, the folders are visible in the folder pane, but when I select an
affected folder, TB becomes unusable and cannot even be closed.

WRT bug 218167 and bug bug 220295, no this is not the problem.

I can't reproduce this with version 2.0.0.9. I am happy to let's let this bug die as assume it was fixed at some point.
