I like this behaviour very much, but it doesn´t work under (SuSE) Linux. When I click under Linux I get a message that "the URL may be invalid" Reproducible: Always

(In reply to comment #0) The is not really a bug but a feature for some people. Type about:config in location (address) bar and filter for middlemouse.contentLoadURL and set the Value to false middlemouse.contentLoadURL Determines how to handle middle-clicks in the content area. True (default in Linux): Go to whatever address is currently in the clipboard False (default in all but Linux): Handle middle-clicks normally. http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config_entries#Middlemouse..2A

If I set it to false behaviour is still different from Windows.I can´t scroll by moving the mouse cursor up or down, the middle button just does nothing.

(In reply to comment #3) > If I set it to false behaviour is still different from Windows.I can´t scroll by > moving the mouse cursor up or down, the middle button just does nothing. Autoscrolling? In Firefox: go to Edit->Preferences->Adavanced->Browsing-> check "Use autoscrolling" box. http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/options#advanced ...Now why was this bug changed back to UNCONFIRMED without saying the reason?
