While adding support for the markAsReadOnSpam pref to Thunderbird in bug 253234, I rewrote the respective mailCommands.js code to be more understandable. As that file is part of the code that is forked between the products, the changes in attachment #192118 [details] [diff] [review] should be ported to SeaMonkey.

Fixed by a combination of: Bug 324953 - Run Junk Mail Controls (on selected messages) broken. Bug 438805 - Port junkCommands.js to Seamonkey. Bug 475200 - Junk controls don't work in standalone message window.
