The files are loaded as I can detect from a right click in th appropiate area,
but they don't display. Have I done something wrong ?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.send Firefox to this URL: http://www.RichardLawhorn.com/weather/index.html
2.a gif and jpg are underneath but not showing
3.right-click in the upper-center and you get the properties of the gif image
4.Try I.E. or Netscape and see what I imtended.

Actual Results:
Mostly black screen with some text. Pictures din't display.

Expected Results:
Try I.E. or Netscape and see what I imtended.
Have you checked "For the originating web site only" in Tools->Options->Web
Features ? Unchecking that box is the most common fix for such issues.
