Details
(Whiteboard: [closeme 2010-04-10])
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Firefox failed to display some images at their right places when using proxy servers in Firefox options, it almost happens everytime when the connection speed gets slow, and it's not specific to some websites or some proxy servers, It occured on many websites I've visited, and every proxy servers I've used. But everything works fine if I don't set proxy servers in Firefox options, even when I'm actually using third party softwares, such as SocksCap, to redirect my internet connections to proxy servers. Screenshot (could be even worse, sometimes it loads images from other tabs): http://static.flickr.com/30/40440547_0c427ab60b.jpg?v=0 Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Find a slow proxy server. 2. Find a heavily imaged website. 3. See the magic. Actual Results: Close Firefox then retry may solve the problem. Expected Results: Place everything where they are supposed to be. I don't think there could be any reason other than a Firefox bug that causes this, but for your information: I installed three extensions: All-in-One Gestures 0.15.2 FlashGot 0.5.9.6 Adblock v.5 d2 * nightly 39 I didn't install any third party theme. Maybe because I have Internet Explorer installed on my computer?

I don't think it is related to IE, it can be related to your extensions. Start in safe mode, or create a second profile just for testing, without extensions. See if you get same buggy result with a virgin profile without extensions. I'm seeing a bug like this caused by Java when playing Mahjong (just doing hard Mozilla work, follow links in bug 295926 ;-) I've seen other bugs like this happening when I loaded a page from the internet, all was fine when I saved as webpage, complete and loaded locally.
