User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050905 Firefox/1.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050905 Firefox/1.0+ i didn't see anything in the summaries that seemed similar, so my apologies if this is a dup: when launched deerpark, it goes through it's software update thing (irregardless of my preferences, though great job on getting it implemented) and all is well. if a new window is opened (whether initiated by me, or by a website) the software update mechanism triggers _everytime_, which gets really old and forces me back to safari pretty quickly. imho, it should only present this window if there is something to update. not sure if this is mac only, or affects other platforms. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open deer park 2. observe software update runs 3. open a new window Actual Results: the window opens, but observe that software update runs yet again Expected Results: the window should open, but without software update being shown to the user (or running at all?)
