Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050905 Firefox/1.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050905 Firefox/1.0+ I set auto update on all CRLs imported from http://crl.verisign.com/. Several weeks of auto updating CRLs OK. Then, a couple of weeks ago, firefox always crashed on exit (if it had been running more than a few minutes) until I removed 2 CRLs that had failed update status. firefox now exits cleanly every time. The CRL update failure message was not "Network Problems" but some more complex message. I didn't save the message or note which 2 CRLs I deleted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.imported all crl files from http://crl.verisign.com/ (those listed in July 2005) - removing CRLs that fail or are not up to date 2. set auto update on all CRLs (using default of 1 day before) 3. run for one or more update cycle (several weeks) 4. check for failed CRL updates (I had 2 but *did not note which*) 5. let firefox run for more than a few minites...then when exiting firefox, it will crash instead of clean exit 6. remove CRLs with failed updates and repeat 5. - note firefox will exit cleanly Actual Results: removing badly updating CRLs allows firefox to exit cleanly Expected Results: exit cleanly even if CRL update failing for one or more CRLs FYI: I have use OSCP turned on. I use a http proxy (sometimes I turn this off and go directly so I do not expect a problem here)
