With an instance of mozilla currently running, I'm able to open my email with
mozilla -remote "xfeDoCommand(openInbox)"
There does not seem to be any way on the command line to open the composer when
an instance of mozilla is already running, without creating a new profile.
("mozilla -edit" will prompt for a profile if an instance is running.) It would
be nice if there were a command...
mozilla -remote "xfeDoCommand(openEditor)"
...that would open the composer with the current profile, just like the
openInbox does.
____________
Mozilla is great. Thanks for your work!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.mozilla &
2.mozilla -edit
3.
Actual Results:
Mozilla prompts for a profile.
Expected Results:
This is the expected behavior. But it'd be great if there were a
mozilla -remote "xfeDoCommand(openEditor)"
command.

Mass resolving a bunch of old bugs in the x-remote component in preparation for archiving it. If this bug is still valid and useful, please move it to the "Toolkit: Startup and Profile System" component and reopen it.
