Design Bug: attached files do not appear on the disk for the Windows XP
operating system. They appear to want to download into /tmp which is one of the
last places I would want to store a useful file. Contrast with Eudora, which
has a dedicated directory for all attached files. This allows users to use grep
or another search tool to find a document or an email by searching on the disk.
A further problem with the current design is that it encourages opening an
attached file, which is one of the least prudent things to do in an age of
viruses embedded in files.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try searching for an attached file using Windows Explorer.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
No hit.

Expected Results:
Should find the file when search by name of the file or by contents.
