User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; fr-FR; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050717 Firefox/1.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; fr-FR; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050717 Firefox/1.0.6

I think that the mozilla web developer section is not easy to find in the
Mozilla Web sites.
There is not any direct link from the left side menu: nor in the "support"
section , either in the "developper" section.
I did not find it directly in the Mozilla.org and in the
http://www.mozilla-europe.org.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to support section : no link to the web developper documentation.
2. go to developper section : no link to the web developper documentation.
3. process a search query and find it.

Actual Results:
The documentation is not well known by web developpers. We have to use MSDN to
find some reference documentation.

Expected Results:
A link "web developper" in the support section of all mozilla web sites
(mozilla.org, mozilla-europe.org, ...).
Summary: Mozilla web devlopper not easy to find → Mozilla web developer not easy to find

True. But that's only 1 part of the problem.

True.

> 2. go to developper section : no link to the web developper documentation.

In the "Tools and Resources" section of the page
http://www.mozilla.org/developer/
there is a link to "Documentation for (...) Web developers."

The other problem is that even if you find such link and click on it, you end up
in a page that provide links
- to outside resources (W3C),
- to deprecated/obsolete/unmaintained documents or
- to not useful, not really helpful webpages for web developers wishing to
upgrade their pages for Firefox and Mozilla.
Some links are provided for updating and upgrading webpages but they are not so
clearly or not so explicitly identified as such.

Best solution would be to have a link for web developers in the left hand side
menu which would be referencing:

http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Main_Page

Problem is that developer.mozilla.org site is still very much incomplete,
lagging, still in beta, in a slow process of being populated or updated. It's a
huge undertaking...

I agree with you 100% on this.

Would it be difficult to implement such links to rectify the issue?
A big bunch of web developer docs are on MDN now and easy to find:
