Please refer the screen shot! In a reply window, when I highlight few text and right click, the menus gets crossed the window border & I'm unable to see them? Please refer the snapshot. My conf: User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Thunderbird/1.0.6 Build ID: 2005071616 -- Dilip Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Reply a email. 2.Highlight few text. 3.Right click to see menu Actual Results: The menus gets crossed the window border & I'm unable to see them? Expected Results: The menu should be poped up/down depending on the window/cursor position.
First: the screenshot shown is not a compose window, it's a standalone message window. Second: I can reproduce the case of the menu going above the top of the window only if there is insufficent room at the *bottom* of the window to accept the entire menu. In the case where that happens, the menu goes above the window but is not truncated, it's entirely visible. You provided no information regarding the window placement relative to the screen edges. Finally: there is clearly an extension in use there, as "Open selection" and "Paste userAgent" are not standard items. Is the problem still seen when running TB in Safe Mode? This is an old bug, and I'm resolving it WorksForMe. Feel free to reopen if you can reproduce the problem with a current 2b1 nightly build, running without extensions -- and if you do reopen, please provide the information about the window position relative to the screen.
