RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 147670

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050901 Firefox/1.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050901 Firefox/1.0+

When pulling down the search engine plug-in menu and running the mouse over the
entries, a blank or incorrect tooltip is displayed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select the search engine drop-down menu
2. Run the mouse over any search engine entry

Actual Results:
A blank tooltip if the application is just started and no tooltip has been
displayed. If another tooltip has already been displayed (i.e. "go back one
page" when hovering over the back arrow), then the last displayed tooltip will
appear for all of the search engines.

Expected Results:
Either display no tooltip, a tooltip related to the search engine (e.g. "search
the web" for the Google engine, "search encyclopedia" for Wikipedia, etc.), or a
generic tooltip for all search plugins (i.e. "Search [XXX]" where [XXX] is the
name of search engine moused over)
Apparently the "Check for Updates" function doesn't update to the latest nightly
build (or at least mine didn't for some reason).

I can still reproduce the bug using the latest nightly:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050906 Firefox/1.4
