User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; it-IT; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050717 Firefox/1.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; it-IT; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050717 Firefox/1.0.6

Today (06 sept 2005) i tried to download the file:
(1) http://www.keil.com/download/files/lpc2148_usbmem.zip
from the link in the web page:
(2) http://www.keil.com/download/docs/307.asp
by clicking on the link with the right mouse button and selecting "Save as..."
and selecting a Folder that is not the "standard" Firefox download folder.
While saving, Firefox added about 1K of junk data at the beginning of the file.

It doesn't happen if I type the link (1) in the address bar and then save it.
It also doesn't happen if I simply click on the link and save it on the default
download page
I tried also to open the page with Internet Explorer, and it saves the file
correctly in all cases.

When the problem appears, Firefox download windows says "unknown file dimension"
while downloading file

bye Andrea

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the web page: http://www.keil.com/download/docs/307.asp
2.Click on the link "LPC2148_USBMEM.ZIP" with the right mouse button and select
"Save as..."
3.Select a folder which is not the default Firefox download folder
4.Wait the file to be saved (you should see "unknown file dimension" in download
page)

Actual Results:
Firefox added about 1K of junk data at the beginning of the zip file
Please note the zip file is not corrupted, and saving in other ways work
correctly (see details)

Expected Results:
correctly save the zip file
Downloaded fine from here.
This bug is similar to 307246.

Responders who say the Zip downloads work OK are not using
