Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050907 Firefox/1.4

The .app name and icon does not update when upgrading from a pre-release (i.e.
Deer Park) to a release (i.e. Firefox 1.5 Beta 1). I'm not sure if this is
possible. The current setup requires the user delete the previous application
and download and install Firefox separately.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have pre-release installed (i.e. Deer Park)
2. Run updater for beta release (i.e. Firefox 1.5 Beta 1)
Actual Results:
Application restarts as "Firefox" in menu but .app is still Deer Park with Deer
Park icon.

Expected Results:
Application should start as "Firefox" with .app name changed to Firefox and icon
changed to standard Firefox icon.
Not a huge deal, as mglenn notes, but should probably get fixed if possible.
FWIW, the icon *does* update on w32. (Anyone with Linux know if it changed there?)

I'm almost positive this is due to the branding change and I'm inclined to
WONTFIX it.

Note that reporter indicated that he was unsure that it would even be possible
to fix this one.
This is WONTFIX. Technically, we'd also have to deal with the challenge of the
user changing the name of the folder from "Deer Park.app" to "Something
Else.app", which makes this a very painful problem to solve in general.

It's a pre-beta release, for testing, we're not going to spend cycles on a
smooth upgrade path from pre-beta to beta/final releases. Testers can take the
extra step.
