The bookmark toolbar will randomly collapse down to the 'chevron' (>>) icon, and
will not re-expand if you right-click on the toolbar and choose the "Expand"
option.  The toolbar will return to normal by unchecking and re-checking the
bookmark toolbar option under the View->Toolbars menu.  Can't seem to find any
pattern, although it may be related to clicking on links that open a new window.
 The bookmarks are still accessible, but hidden under the chevron menu.
