Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050907 Firefox/1.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050907 Firefox/1.4 When you have two or more tabs open, the status bar does not always update properly. If you switch tabs when a page is loading (after you have clicked a link), the status bar will not change until you again force the browser to load something new. This is independent of all tabs, so you can switch between them and it will not change. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have two or more tabs open. 2. Click a link in one tab. 3. As the page is loading, click on one of the other tabs. Actual Results: You will notice that the status bar stays stuck, even after the "Loading..." on the tab has dissapeared. You can then switch between tabs and the status bar still will not change. Expected Results: Firefox should properly update the status bar.
I think this is a blocker, though not sure which flag to set for the 1.5 milestone (there doesn't appear to be one).
Version: unspecified → 1.5 Branch
It actually predates Mozilla 1.0, much less Firefox 1.0, so I don't think it's going to block a release at this point. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 104532 ***
