Details

Seen using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4)
Gecko/20050907 Firefox/1.4

STR:

1. Open any page and do a File | Save Page As to the desktop
2. The file that you saved retains the Deer park branding instead of the Firefox
branding

If you perform the File | Open operation it shows the correct branding.
Adding some info to this bug:

(1) I still see this after restart.
(2) I have various installations of Firefox set up in Folders on the desktop,
and did not have this instance set up in the Applications folder.
What do you mean when you say that the HTML pages retain Deer Park branding?
What "branding"? I don't understand how saved HTML files have anything to do
with the browser chrome.
dupe of 307366 ?
This isn't fixable, especially if you have both a Deer Park build and a Firefox
build on the same machine.
I'm also seeing this, but on Windows XP. (Is there a Windows version of this bug?)
I ony have one instance of Firefox on my drive (/Applications) and can't
reproduce the icon branding here. Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X
Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050910 Firefox/1.4

Update: I'm no longer seeing this on Windows XP.
Closing out this bug since we are now well beyond this release.
