User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: When I right click on a link in a page to open it in another tab, the menu is not viewable - it is very high on the page and it won't move downwards so the option "Open Link In New Tab" is not accessible. I have to move the whole page down so when I do the rightclick, the menu appears viewable and I can reach this option. Thank You. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.CRight click on a link that is in the upper side of the page 2. 3. Actual Results: The context sensitive menu appears but its beggining can't be seen, its downline begins from the clicked link and goes up Expected Results: Menu's top end should start from the highest viewable point of the monitor so it could be seen the whole menu with all of the options. The software doesn't crash but it is annoing to reposision the open window so you can reach an option.
Reporter, what version are you using ? Works for me Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050907 Firefox/1.4
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050907 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2005090711 Works for me. If you can reproduce this in the latest builds with a clean profile feel free to reopen.

I am using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 The resolution I am working on is 800 x 600, maybe this is the problem (but it shouldn't be)?
I've changed the resolution to 1024 x 768 but the problem remains. Anyway, I noticed something else: when the link I want to click on is more than two lines (on 4-th line, 5-th,...) below the top - if we consider the line with tabs as top , it doesn't open like it should, but if the link is on 1-st, 2-nd or 3-rd line it opens O.K. So, when the link is on line 1, 2 or 3 the menu opens from the link down (meaning that the top of the menu starts from the line of the link), but when the link is on 4, 5, 6, ... it opens from the link up (meaning that the bottom of the menu starts from the line of the link).

How many items are in your context menu?
There are quite a few items in my context menu because I have several extensions installed, but I think this shouldn't be a problem. Probably it is the main problem but it shouldn't be. There are some extensions that are very useful to me.
I loaded a number of extensions to try them out with the idea of keeping the ones I liked. It is clearly evident that the context sensitive menu fails to position itself (and possibly resize it's vertical length) correctly. In a nutshell, the context menu positions itself such that the bottom of the context menu is at the same position that was right-clicked. The higher the screen position at which the user right-clicked the greater the extend of the problem. ps. I have confirmed the problem both on Windows XP and Windows 2000 Workstation with the latest service packs. Both PCs setup using Firefox/1.0.7 [Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915]
