viewer.exe 2/5/99
NT4, MAC 8.5, Linux
website: www.bullfrog.co.uk
qa assign to chrisd@netscape.com

Problem: Linux. The page for www.bullfrog.co.uk loads, shows the warning the
plugins are required. At the bottom of the page the Status Bar shows that it
continuously tries to connect to host www.ea.com.
4.5.1: NT and Mac display the page without it trying to connect to ea.com.
Other 5.0: NT and Mac load the page which shows the message that it requires
plugins but the Status Bar never shows that it's trying to connect to ea.com.

alex, what is the schedule for unix plugins coming on-line?
Any day now.
going to this page now crashes the app -- I checked it using viewer and
apprunner. I looked at the contents of the page and narrowed it down to the
following bit of code:

<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"> removing the
classid allows the page to load, otherwise the app crashes. I checked this on
win95, mac, win98, winNT
Alex -- how is the fix coming?

the contents of http://www.bullfrog.co.uk/home.html, which is the body of the
framed site, does not load. The contents of the page is a combination of
javascript, object element, embed element and a plugin. But, since the site no
longer crashes I am marking as verified.
