It continues indefinitely, we let it run for 12 hours once. We copied the Junk Folder files to another Thunderbird Installation, and the results were exactly the same. Something was wrong with this particular folder's contents. But when we chose to 'Compact the Folders', the problem disappeared. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Thunderbird 2. Click the Junk Folder under Local Folders Actual Results: You would get 100% CPU usage by TB 1.0.6, which would continue indefinitely. Expected Results: You should see the list of messages inside the Junk Folder
