Details
While testing what appeared to be a hang problem with checking extensions compatibility, I realized there is a focus problem on Linux that make the dialog appear to hang. My steps: 1. Install 1.0.6 2. Install a few extensions (AdBlock and Gmail Notifier were the ones I tried) 3. Restart 1.0.6 and make sure the extensions were installed correctly. 4. Shutdown 1.0.6 5. Install 1.5 Beta 1 build (or nightly branch) 6. On startup, software update will start checking the extensions compatibility. 7. If you stay focused on the Firefox Update dialog, it will appear as if it's hung (although if you look at the terminal console, it will say that it is done). 8. If you change the focus to another window and the back to Firefox, the check will finish and Firefox will start. Seems like a annoying bug, but don't think it's a blocker. Although we should try to get this fixed asap.

This is a Linux only issue from what I can tell. Haven't seen this on Mac or Windows.
