Sunbird should permit individual descriptive text to be added to each event of recurring set--so user can tag must-see or fugeddaboutit occasions.

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20050203 Mozilla Sunbird/0.2 I have several recurring events (university seminar series, to be specific) in my calendar. Some of them are "must see", some are "fugeddaboutit", and most are just on the list. I need to be able to tag the good and the bad, individually as session titles/speakers are announced, wihtout mucking-up anything else in the recurrence set. Reproducible: Always
(Is it really necessary to have the repeating event in your calendar, or can you simply add each one as they are announced?) This sounds like a duplicate of bug 194556.

Yes, this is a duplicate of 194556.
But 194556 is closed, and that's bum.
This feature is too doggone useful to be dismissed and it's not a heck of a lot
different from the ability to block selected occurrences ("exceptions") out of
a list.
The "exception" capability, I would infer, is some sort of tag-object which
blocks the display of a single occurrence. What would be so hard about making
the same tag-object into a single-occurrence note?
