Details

When mousing over a button in any of the main windows, or a dialog, the entire window is redrawn now. This is very visible if double buffering is turned off.
If you turn on paint flashing it does not. It only redraws the status bar. Not sure why double buffering would show you a different result. But if it does its not a XUL issue.

This was actually a side-effect of an event-handling problem on Mac, which I have a fix for. I had diffs in my tree which caused it.
