In Firefox 1.0, clicking on the location bar selects the entire URL, and
clicking in the search bar selects the entire search term. In this new version,
clicking in either of these bars places the cursor at the mouse location,
instead of selecting the contents of the bar.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter a URL into the location bar, or a search term into the search bar, and
hit enter
2. Click on the location/search bar
3.
Actual Results:
Cursor placed at mouse location
Expected Results:
Selected the entire contents of the location/search bar
The keyboard shortcut Apple-L correctly selects the entire location bar URL, and
Apple-K selects the entire search term.
