I am NOT able to run Firefox 1.5beta1 (firefox-1.5b1.tar.gz) version on Fedora
Core 4 running on IBM ThinkCentre with Linux Kernel 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4smp

Reproducible: Always

2.cd to firefox
3. start firefox browser : bash$ ./firefox

Actual Results:
Firefox does not start !

Expected Results:
Firefox must start

None
Does Talkback appear or nothing at all (so no sign of a crash)? Can you move
away your Firefox profile in ${HOME} from .mozilla to .mozilla2 or whatever and
see if it starts now?

I tried this, after moving the .mozilla to .mozilla2 , it works fine !
This appears to be a profile misconfiguration problem (probably brought on by an
upgrade during which the original reporter did not backup and move their profile).
