This is a regression between Firefox nightlies 2005-09-05-05-trunk and
2005-09-06-06-trunk. ajschult said something about problems selecting in
SeaMonkey -- could you confirm if your problem has the same regression window,
and, if so, describe it?

Steps to reproduce:
 1. start Firefox on a clean profile
 2. middle click the Mozilla icon in the upper left corner of the start page to
load www.mozilla.org in a new tab
 3. click on the text somewhere in the start page so there's no focus (I don't
think this matters, but I did it)
 4. double click in the URL bar to select the URL of the start page
 5. click on the second tab
 6. middle click in the textbox for searching www.mozilla.org

Expected results: URL of start page appears in search field.

Actual results: nothing happens

Regressed between Firefox Linux nightlies 2005-09-05-05-trunk and
2005-09-06-06-trunk.
ajschult says all ability to paste breaks after switching tabs, and I confirm --
just select text in this page, switch to another tab and back (with the mouse),
and try middle-clicking in this textarea.
Summary: selecting in URL bar no longer allows middle-mouse paste after switching tab → switching tabs breaks ability middle-mouse paste
Summary: switching tabs breaks ability middle-mouse paste → switching tabs breaks ability to middle-mouse paste
Is this the same as bug 307304? If so, the patch in bug 307256 should fix it...
