User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 This bug was present even before FF 1.0 release and I found it even on Deer park beta1. I can't reproduce the exact circumstances under which it happened and that prevented me from reporting it earlier. The problem is firefox would take up all the available CPU and this will not go down no matter how long I wait. I have to kill firefox and restart another instance. Everytime it happened when using shift + tab to navigate backward through the open tabs. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
Possibly a dupe of bug 162283.

I am running Firefox 1.0.7 on Mac OS X. I can't provide a direct link to the page (it's behind a login window), but maybe somebody else who has an account can duplicate it. Go to www.apple.com/support, click on `Enroll your AppleCare agreement' (in the right-hand column) and login. Click on `Enroll an AppleCare Protection Plan (APP)'. In the resulting window, TAB navigation works properly, but SHIFT-TAB reproducibly locks up the browser. A friend (also running Firefox on Mac OS X) was able to duplicate this behaviour.
Tahseen, do you still see this problem? STM bug 162283 is not related. jade is gone
